Responsible for managing the network administration activities of the institution, participating in planning for future initiatives, establishing policies and procedures; preparing audit requests and annual review of relevant department policies, maintaining appropriate security levels for users, coordinating with end users to insure effectiveness of systems. Responsible for monitoring the external threat environment for emerging threats and advise courses of action to mitigate the threats. Responsible for supervising assigned personnel to maintain steady work flow and meet production schedules and deadlines; may provide training and guidance to less experienced personnel; strong problem solving and analytical skills including the ability to troubleshoot various IT issues. Must be accurate and detail oriented. Responsible for the control, retention, storage and distribution of the master documentation files and backup files.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a related technical or business skill.
Experience: general banking experience preferred; experience with auditing and certifying compliance of various systems preferred, proficiency in using Microsoft products and operating systems, project management experience, advanced technical knowledge of network management, computer hardware and software
Skills: proficient keyboarding, highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated supervisory skills, a valid driver’s license is required.
