Responsible for a variety of duties relating to the opening and processing of new accounts of all types, the cross selling of institution services to customers and prospective customers.
Responsible for operating a full-service teller station to receive and process a variety of customer transactions, preparing and maintaining various reports and records, promoting institution services.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Prior CSR and Teller experience preferred but not necessary; cash handling experience is necessary; experience working in a professional office environment is preferred
Skills: Proficient computer skills. Superior ability to interact with customers; and must be precise, detail oriented, reliable, flexible and the ability to multi-task. Neat and professional appearance is necessary. Basic understanding of accounting functions. Ability to recognize opportunities and suggest/cross-sell banking products and services. Excellent telephone etiquette. Willingness to learn new tasks, coachable and must be a team player.
Approximately 36 – 40 hours per week; must be able to work a flexible schedule to include some Friday evenings until 6 p.m. and some Saturdays until noon.
